 Hi there, Welcome to last part of PROGRAMMING IN COMPUTERS (BASICS) PART - 6.  After this article we will start with MID LEVEL. In this part we will see about basic tags of HTML used in Body Section.

Center Tag : This tag is a container tag which is used to move or place the text at the middle of the webpage. Eg :

Font Tag : Font tag is a tag which is used to change the colour, size, style/face of the word or sentence in the webpage. It is a container Tag. Font tag has 3 attributes : 

1. Style/Faces

2. Size

3. Colour

NOTE : Font size of the text in HTML is different form text editors. It contains values form 1 to 7. 1 is the lowest size of text and 7 is the highest size of text in HTML . EG :

Big And Small Tag : This is a shortcut tag to Increase or Decrease the size of the text. You can use it instead of writing the whole tag of Font Size. Both the tags (small and big) are the container tags. 

NOTE : The default number of size of font is 3. If you use it multiple times then it will add the numbers of size of font. The number of times you have used the tags, you have to close it in the same number of times like if you have used it 3 times then you have to close 3 times as well. 

 Eg : <big> <big> <big>  _______________   </big> </big> </big>.

If you want to add the number of size of font then you have to use the tag for 1 to 2 times. 

In the case of small tag it also does the same thing but decreases the number of size of the font with 1 value. Eg : <small> <small> <small> ________________  </small> </small> </small>.
