What Is 5G Technology ?
5G stands for 5th Generation Technology or network. It is improved, fast and efficient version of 4G Technology. It maximum speed measured is 20 Gigabits-Per-Second (GBPS) and its average speed measured is between 100 Migabits-Per-Second (MBPS) or more than 100 MBPS. 5G is more fast, secure, efficient than other networks i.e. 2G, 3G, 4G. It increases the traffic capacity of the Internet.
5G Speeds is more than or same as a Broadband or Wi-Fi Networks. It was started spreading all over the world in the year of 2019.
Why is 5G more special than 4G ?
5G provides a great speed, efficiency and has a great latency and capacity than 4G or 4G LTE network. Because it has good downloading speed and uploading speed on the internet the efficiency of using the Internet becomes easy, fast and secure. Streaming, Downloading, Uploading or watching a video without any lag or buffering in it, Cloud Gaming, and Online Gaming becomes easy and this makes 5G network more special than 4G or 4G LTE networks.
Using broadband and wi-fi connections and spending more money for the great speed of Internet reduces and you can also say that 5G is a pocket version of Wi-fi or Broadband.
5G In India ?
5G is currently developed and is being ready to deploy in firstly major cities and states like : Delhi, Pune, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Gurugram, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Chennai, Hyderabad, Gandhi Nagar, and Lucknow etc. are some cities where 5G is being tested and are ready to deploy.
Recently, Jio has announced that it will launch it 5G service in first 1000 cities. And on the 76th Independence Day of India Jio has celebrated "Aazadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav" Program by launch of 5G service in india, it has currently not launched it for commercial purpose but will soon launch it commercially.
Some sources tells that Prime Minister (Mr. Narendra Modi) of India will officially launch the 5G service in India on the day of India Mobile Congress (IMC) on 29th September 2022.
SPEED TEST OF JIO 5G
Recently Jio 5G Speed Test images leaked on the Internet, the results of the Jio 5G speed test were shocking and surprising as it has the Upload Speed of 420-450 MBPS and Download Speed of 430-440 MBPS. This speed shows that 5G has more than 10X speed of internet and data transmission than 4G and 4GLTE.
What is 5G Spectrum ?
5G has a high-bandwidth spectrum which is able to deliver fast speed in shorter distance. It has a frequency of 24 Giga-Hertz GHz and can be more than 24 GHz.
Highest Bands of 5G Networks lies between 30 GHz - 50 GHz. This band can even achieve the speed of 1 GBPS.
PLANS FOR 5G
Plans for 5G can start from (Rs)₹400 Mbps and high speed plans go for (Rs) ₹700 to (Rs)₹800. By the reports the speed provided will/can be between 250 Mbps to 400 Mbps.
