Information About Technology PART - 2 (Internet And Networks)

Hi there, welcome to another part of Information About Technology PART - 2. In this article we will see about more on Computer Networks. 

Internet : Internet is world of Computer Networks in which one computer is connected to other computer to form a network in which Data and Resources can be shared. INTERNET stands for Interconnected Network is a network system that connects millions of web servers around the world.

Browsers : Browsers are the software used for viewing or finding Information on Internet. There are many types of Browsers : 

1. Google Chrome

2. Mozilla Firefox 

3. Microsoft Edge 

4. Internet Explorer 

5. Safari 

6.Opera 

7.Brave Browser

Etc.

The default browsers in computers are Google Chrome , Microsoft Edge etc.

WWW or W3: WWW stands for World Wide Web, it is a Hypertext. It was invented by Tim-Berners Lee and Robert Cailliau. 

HTTP : HTTP stands for Hyper Text Transfer Protocol used for transmitting Hypermedia Documents like HTML. It was developed for the communication between Web Servers and Web Browsers. 

HTTPS : HTTPS stands for Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure. It is a type of HTTP Protocol which is secured by a Layer called TLS (Transfer Layer Security). TLS is a security protocol for Web Browsers and Web Severs.

Web Severs : Web Sever is the Software or a Computer that runs website and accepts the request of HTTP or HTTPS. It stores, process and deliver Web pages to the Users.
